These Chinese egg custard tarts are a childhood favourite of ours and are what our bakery is named after. Dan-Tat are a classic of the Dim Sum table, they are much lighter in texture and flavour than British or European custard tarts. They're made up of a delicate crisp pastry with a sweet wobbly custard filling.
